looked at one last loft in the West Loop with nice long range views of downtown and an amazing rooftop deck. back to the Sears Tower for Лена’s dentist appointment then ended up at Flatiron for a late dinner.

flew in late Monday night for a Tuesday afternoon CPQ presentation. opportunity to further add to the magnet collection.

got back to Chicago just before midnight, but still managed to make it over to the studio and meet Joe and Лена for the end of the Christmas performance. light dusting of snow on the truck as we headed back home.

last week flying into DC as the project is wrapping up. Strange how warm December is, or perhaps i’m still accustomed to the WY winters.

flew out Wednesday night for 2 days of training. met the new team and had a very nice dinner at McKendrick’s.

met up with Arjen in DC for dinner at Fogo de Chão. great meal, interesting experience, and of course fantastic to spend some time with Arjen again.

dropped by Dave & Buster’s and ended up bringing this guy home with all of the tickets i won. will further crowd the apartment, but hopefully we’ll be getting some positive news on yesterday’s offer.

slept in pretty late knowing that the weather wouldn’t cooperate for skydiving. and seeing my reserve expires tomorrow, it looks like i’m done until next spring. might need to take a trip to Moab or meet Mike in Twin Falls in a couple of months to do some BASE. drove out to the suburbs and walked around Morton Arboretum in the afternoon. cool spot, but was a bit cold. dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack, then poked around Ikea for a little while before driving back.

canceled an early appointment to see a few apartments as the timing didn’t work out. interesting afternoon at the dentist with Лена, then went to Marina City toward the end of the day to see a couple of units. thinking of making an offer on one that’s a wreck, but with an incredible view. dinner at Butterfly Sushi for more bubble tea.

looked at another 10 or so places today, and 2 stood out. not surprisingly, the trade off will be square footage or a killer view. very tempted by one on a high floor at Riverbend. at Vicky’s in Oak Park late to celebrate Jimmie’s 30th.
