Field Museum

slow, lazy morning. finally motivated and decided with Mira to head to the Field Museum. fun time as always, and picked up a couple more Mold-a-Rama souvenirs to add to the collection. swung by 11 City Diner on the way back for dinner.

Wishbone

day in the office, quick stop at home, then off to pick up Mira from school. stopped by the park, checked on construction progress, quick stop at Target, and over to Wishbone for dinner. train home, hung out, Лена got home, and finally bedtime for all.

observation day

slept in after staying up late watching Stipe dominate. late morning to ballet, and was able to watch as it was the last day of the session. lunner in River North at Cantina.

Rainforest

morning to Mission and back home expecting a yummy brunch, but somehow Mira convinced us to go to Rainforest Cafe instead… relaxing day at home, took the ornaments off of the tree, and in bed early to catch up on sleep.

Walnut return

office all day, and across the street to the dentist for a cleaning before heading home. picked up Mira from school, then over to the Walnut Room for the first time in a while for dinner.

bowling!

morning at Mission, afternoon out to Lincoln Park for Elena’s bday party at the bowling alley in New City. fun time, and Mira had a blast. also managed to finally pay the earnest money balance for the new digs, as the office was nearby. dinner at one of the restaurants next door before heading home.

Alexa and Michael left early for their flight. slept late, Mira finally got us up to open her New Year presents. great, lazy day – time spent playing with a house full of toys. to Mission late and in bed for work tomorrow.
