up painfully early and got the girls moving. out of the room and managed to get off of the ship and through customs quickly – much faster than the last time in Miami. taxi to the airport, checked in, and dropped off our luggage. easy flight, Mira napped, arrived back to Chicago, got our stuff and taxied toward home. detour on the way to find a bathroom for Mira, then eventually arrived. relaxed for a few hours, then dinner out at Texas de Brazil, which was awesome. good thing as it’ll be my last real meal for some time.

relaxed morning, made our way down to the dining room for the Dr. Seuss breakfast. Mira loved it, tried the green eggs and ham, and was thrilled as each new character arrived. back to the room before finding the internet cafe and attempting to check in for tomorrow’s flight home. uneventful afternoon – quick lunch, again dropped by the photo gallery, and a dip in the hot tub with Mira. Лена went back up to the spa while Mira napped, and we eventually grabbed a late dinner. packed up and bags outside the door before bed.

up early and hung out for a while solo. eventually Лена and Mira woke, so we were off to breakfast. watched us pull into the dock from our balcony before the next Carnival ship arrived. finally decided to get off of the ship and made the short walk down to collect our golf cart. drove all around the island and enjoyed the tour, but definitely would never need to return. hot day, good to have covered transport. first time driving on the wrong side of the road – good prep for England in December. took some great photos, bought some trinkets, grabbed a drink at some beach club, returned the golf cart, and got back on the ship – skipping the crazy pool and beach scene at port. lunch on the boat, hung out and did some more reading. swung by the spa with the girls and Лена soon returned on her own while I went back to read and Mira to sleep. late dinner, and as always very good.

up very early, and had breakfast delivered to the room. on the first tender to the island and the first ride over to our cabana. gorgeous beach and setting with clear blue water and powder white sand. lots of great pictures before the masses start to arrive. day spent swimming, and lots of time in the water with Mira. flash thunderstorm, but we were able to hide in our cabana. packed up and made our way back to the boat instead of eating on the island. another quick nap, then spent a good amount of time reading in bed. stopped by to view and purchase some photos from the night before, then caught a nice dinner before bed.

slept in and awoke to find us docked in a crowded Nassau port. grabbed breakfast at the buffet then back to the room to get ready. off the ship around 11:30 am, walked around and did some shopping. very hot! stopped by the Hard Rock Cafe for a drink to cool off. walked around a bit more before venturing back to the ship. beer and a shower, then a little ironing for formal night. took a quick nap and got dressed for dinner. lots of pictures, stopped for practically every photo opportunity on the ship. nice dinner, followed by Mira joining us in bed for the night.

mostly packed last night, last few things put away before a quick breakfast. checked out and took the fancy ride between the hotel and port. the ships always look so big sitting at the dock, and the Conquest was no different. quickly checked in and immediately boarded, stopped at the excursions desk to reserve my HMC cabana – #14. dropped our stuff in the room, 7380, and grabbed a quick bite up on Lido. back to the room, hung out, and eventually down to deck 4 for the safety drill. enjoyed dinner then spent some time walking around, both inside and out. sea is flat and calm, bedtime should be easy.

slept late, but still able to catch breakfast. rainy day and windy, bad weather from the storms in the Caribbean. walked around the hotel and took a nap… eventually made our way to Las Olas, did some shopping and grabbed an early dinner at Rocco’s Tacos. back to the hotel, and Лена brought Mira to the beach before bed.

MDW to FLL. fun flight, played with Mira’s new Peppa Pig family. taxied to the Hilton Beach Resort, and up to our room with an awesome view of the ocean. unpacked and got comfy before a meh dinner inside the hotel, as Mira was too hungry to venture out.
