new sushi spot

walked down Adams for a sushi dinner dinner at a restaurant we noticed a few months back. Friday night and the place was almost empty – can’t imagine it will be open much longer. enjoyed it, but nothing remarkable. cut through the Palmer House on the way back and snapped some pics of Mira with a couple of their Christmas trees.

Nik

short walk up Wabash to stand out in the cold and catch Nik Wallenda’s tightrope walk. unfortunately had to grab a taxi to the airport before he started, but was a great atmosphere out on the street. if i would of bought a place in Marina City as originally planned, could of watched him make both crossings while standing a few feet away on my balcony…
