long flight, didn’t sleep much. the Hilton Amsterdam is great with awesome views overlooking the city. got in and slept in the room for about 4 hours. ran into Anusha and Arvind in the Executive room upstairs. hooked up with them for a walk around Dam Square and the Red Light District. wandered into a nice Thai restaurant for dinner.
just got back from some indoor bocce. fun little game, Brian and Rob made fun of my blue balls. 😉
pretty cool stuff, was my first time there. also got to work at the beer tent, although they were only serving soda this year as for some reason we’re not allowed to have beer and watch cars bang into one another.
went for a paddle with Megan and Mike in Teton NP. we avoided most of the rain and it turned out to be a really nice day. somehow managed to break one of my paddle blades and also soak (and partially kill) my iPhone – am now debating between an upgrade or trying to fix it myself.
looks like i figured out how to set up WordPress on my domain (thanks for the help Rajesh!), even though according to GoDaddy, it’s unsupported with my free hosting plan. guess i found a backdoor by creating my own db and doing the install myself… 🙂
