my random ramblingsan infrequent (and these days, mostly Mira related…) blog

very nice morning brunch at Sunda. back home to rest, hang out with the girls, and pack a few more things.

bfast at Yolk with the girls. back home and eventually off with Mira to both of her gymnastics classes. met up with Jeff late for sushi.

late morning over to the Field Museum with Mira. liked the new Maximo exhibit in the main hall, and hours spent touring some old favorites. back home, then off to gymnastics practice before dinner.

snowing all day, but a little too warm downtown for it to stick. messy walk to and from ballet, with the requisite stop at Target on the way home. spring break for Mira next week.

another party at Pump it Up. train back home, and day spent relaxing at home with the girls. fantastic fight card before bed.

dropped Mira at school, and some more random projects at the new house. after school, back to the old place, and eventually off to the Walnut Room for dinner and some fun coloring on the paper tablecloths. late to pick up Лена from the studio.

drove out to Northbrook with the girls – excited and a little nervous. Лена got settled, and her team started to arrive, so i hung out and watched the end of the level 9 competition. then it was on to the level 3 girls, and Mira’s floor routine was up first. many, many routines later it was over, and all of the girls on the team did great. stuck around for a few more hours waiting on the awards ceremony. turns out Mira was second in hoop and floor, and first in ball. was psyched when it was announced she was also the all-around champion – very proud dad. Mexican for dinner across the street and finally a long drive home.

joined the class for a walk over to POW, and hung out to watch them exercise. picked up Mira a little early at the end of her day, and again over to Joffrey for another make up class.
