up early, bfast, and office bound. last day, spent wrapping up loose ends. eventually back to the hotel, then a celebratory final tapas dinner down the rambla behind the hotel. returned to the room, packed, and in bed early. 6 am departure time tomorrow via Amsterdam, and back in time to pick Mira up from school. 🙂

second to last day in the office… up, bfast, and the taxi ride. all day meeting, but got lots accomplished. back to the hotel end of day and tried to nap, but failed. late dinner in Gracia, and back to the same restaurant from October. great meal, back late, and in bed.

same morning as always, and into the office early. another good day, albeit long – feeling good about our prospects going forward. picked up some Kinder Surprise eggs while out for our afternoon coffee. back to the hotel end of day, and out for dinner nearby to try another sushi spot.

same story as the other days – up early, bfast, and in the office. key demos today, went well i think. starting to feel better from the bug i had since the end of last week. back to the hotel and eventually out for some surprisingly good Mexican food for dinner.

up very early, checked out and taxi to the airport. hung out for a while before my easy flight back to Barcelona. taxi back, but had to wait some time before my room was ready. worth the wait, cool room, with a balcony overlooking the neighborhood. quick lunch around the corner, and a late dinner with the team at a cafe specializing in crepes.

black out curtains, and i slept past 9:00. bfast, and made my way to the center of town to check out the castle, Alfama, Baixa, Barrio Alto, and a great outdoor street market. a lot of walking, up and down hills, and tired by the end of the day. again asked for directions, and am now thinking i may look Portuguese. back to the hotel, had a complimentary bottle of port and plate of fruit show up unexpectedly. found some phở around the corner from the hotel for dinner.

feeling a little better, bfast, checked out and left my big bag behind… and back to the office. another great day, wrapped up early, and off to the airport. easy flight to Lisbon, managed to provide directions to someone in the airport – in Spanish no less. taxi to my hotel for the next couple of nights, and enjoying the big balcony overlooking this section of town.

feeling really under the weather, so skipped the office for the morning. quick bfast, then back to bed. slept in and still not feeling well, so worked the afternoon from the hotel. quick trip to Starbucks, and back to my room and laptop. met up with the team for dinner, which was really nice. after dinner walk to Segrada Familia – first time seeing it in the dark. back to the hotel and packed up before bed.

up, bfast, and an earlier taxi into the office. busy day, but again very productive. enjoying the after lunch walk around the corner for coffee each day. not feeling so great… picked up some meds before leaving after a long day. back to the hotel and straight to bed. up for a bit, grabbed some mediocre sushi, and back to sleep.
