found out Thursday about Said’s new gym, so brought my gear home today after class – now looking forward to Monday. of course Mira wanted to play once she saw what i had in my bag… 🙂

the big # 3

up early – opened presents and had a great morning. off to ballet, always so much fun. came home and started getting things prepped… just got everything done as the first folks started to arrive. party was fantastic, and Mira had the time of her life. bouncer, clown, Peppa Pig, pizza, cake, drinks, and a whole bunch of friends. spent a couple more hours cleaning up, and was very ready for bed.

Toledo

flight into DTW last night, long drive to the hotel and up late preparing for a presentation. busy day, raced back to the airport, and an early evening flight home.

missed tonight’s class as i was at work late. seems she’s learning a lot and progressing quickly, and she loves it.

St. Patty’s

St. Patrick’s Day craziness – bunch of drunk suburban teenagers in the city for the first time. Muay Thai class in the morning, then hung out with Mira while Лена was at work. late lunch at Tesori, just the 2 of us.

gymnastics

managed to get Mira into rhythmic gymnastics classes with some older girls. funny the disproportionate number of Russian speakers there between the instructors, parents, and children. super excited to have this so close to home.

weekend

Friday at Ikea picking up some things for the party. relaxing Saturday with a trip to Toys R Us – again, more party stuff. Sunday morning ballet, early dinner at GLC.
