my random ramblingsan infrequent (and these days, mostly Mira related…) blog

Mira got me up – always so excited for birthdays and presents! opened some presents and ate some carrot cake. girls left for the day, and i stayed home to work. afternoon flight to SFO for a meeting tomorrow – delayed for hours in ORD and not arriving to my hotel until after 1 am PST… 🙁

worked from home today as i needed to run over to Лена’s new RG gym to drop off some more mats during lunch. met up with Jeff for dinner, new spot Duck Duck Goat, which was fantastic. nice to hang out…

skipped Mission (again, grr…), took Mira out to Matilda’s princess birthday party. too cute – house full of princesses… quickly from there over to her swim class, which she really enjoys. back home, and out early evening for dinner at a new spot, Lowcountry, which was great. back home to watch the fights before bed.

enjoying the holiday, but still up with the sun… dropped some mats at Лена’s new RG gym during the day with Mira, then back over at 5 pm with the girls to set up before the very first class. went really well, and most definitely will get more students as the word gets out.

skipped our other Saturday activities for Ella’s bday party at an ice cream shop. picked up Mira as it was wrapping up and headed home. slow day of a glorious 3 day weekend.

work day – in the office… early dinner, intention to go for Cajun, but Mira saw a pizza on a nearby table, so that’s what we ended up with instead. picked up a king cake from Toni to celebrate at home.

got some snow last night and downtown is a junk show. only one in the office today, picked up Mira after school and took a nice long walk through the snow to Target. another Fingerling, and we’re on our way home. quick stop at Disney before heading home to change Mira into her rubber boots. dinner at the Walnut Room for some chicken pot pie.

to ballet as usual, but ended up in a taxi to the ER as Mira was having some unbearable abdominal pain. there for hours, pain eventually went away, and never got a definitive answer as to what was causing it. had long missed my Sunday night flight, so met Лена at GLC for dinner before finally heading home. silver lining – got to see some of the Super Bowl once home after a very long day. restless night…

all day in the office and quickly home before heading over to pick up Mira from school. stop at the park, walk by the construction site, and a quick stop at Target. decided to grab dinner on the way home, fun time at Little Goat.
