Лена came home from the studio mid-afternoon, then we made our way to see Tarun, Neha, and the 3 girls. fun time, and our first visit since the birth of their twins. discovered Mira’s first tooth while we were there. brought home this awesome Cozy Coupe as a birthday present that Mira really loves.

cake delivered, then set about decorating it with the custom toppers i ordered from Etsy. picked up the ballons, got the food ready, yada, yada, yada… nice to have the Chicago fam swing by, had a good time hanging out with everyone. as always, been too long…

first day of spring, awakened to a dusting of snow outside the windows. early morning appointment to finish and submit my tax returns, then back home to give Mira her present – a giant nevalyashka doll. early dinner at the Cheesecake Factory for a little celebration. got home and was surprised with birthday presents from the family in Ukraine.

finally finished – many, many more hours more compared to what i thought it would take. turned into my nightly chore for the last week, but looks good, so no worries.

almost never crawling now. glad we were able to finally make a few decent videos of Mira’s early walking – as my little girl is all grown up… 🙂

late afternoon walk to check out the green river dyeing and take some photos. memories of last year at the river taking photos with Лена a few days before Mirana was born. early dinner at the South Water Kitchen.

finally started hanging the vines in the den, will definitely end up going multiple nights before i finish. ordered the cake, things are falling into place for next week.

later afternoon walk to Grand Lux Cafe, as we didn’t make it last weekend for my birthday. fun spot, beignets, what’s not to like – should go more often.

Лена late at the studio, so i was put in charge of bath time. Mira ended up falling asleep in my arms before making it to her crib… 🙂
