visited 2 baby stores, and starting to check off some of the major purchases on our list. looking to be a spendy endeavor, and the list is still long.

working from the hotel as today is a client holiday for MLK. mid afternoon trip to the JFK Plaza / Love Park to take some photos. evening walk to the Convention Center to check out the auto show. was ok, wasn’t moved by any of the new models, but was cool to see 2 Fiskar Karmas. late dinner back in the hotel before bed.

brunch at a French cafe on our way to see the historic sites. quick stop by the ho-hum Liberty Bell before a walk down Market Street to the river. spent a good chunk of time poking around before eventually taxiing back to the hotel. caught the end of the 49ers game and the entire Ravens game – should be an interesting Super Bowl.

left the office a little early and finished the day working from the hotel. early evening walk around the city shooting photos, then made our way to the east side of the city center to explore some new shops and restaurants. ended up at Opa which we both liked, but the food was a far cry from Chicago’s Greektown.

busy day at work, but great to have Лена here with me the next couple of weeks. breakfast and lunch together then went for a late walk after work and ended up at a cool place named Serafina for dinner. came home and discussed old wives’ tales.

on work calls on and off all day regarding a random production fix. afternoon visit to a private ultrasound office with Лена for some 3D video and photos of our little girl. back home and a couple of good football games kept me in front of the tv. early flight out tomorrow morning with Лена.

stayed at a different hotel this week in Philly, on the western border of Chinatown. each night a different cuisine: Chinese, Malaysian, and Vietnamese.

Nazar and Sofia dropped by for dinner, and Лена made a bunch of Russian dishes. been too long since we hung out, was good to catch up.
