morning ballet before a late afternoon birthday party in Lakeview. cooking party – kids made a cake, pizza, and lemonade. interesting concept, and everything turned out tasty.

early am trip to pick up the cake from Roeser’s, Mariano’s for drinks and fruit, and Party City for balloons. back home, got everything ready, then off to get the pizzas before heading to Mira’s gymnastics gym. chaotic, but all of the kids seemed to have a lot of fun. food, cake, and said our goodbyes. back home, and Mira was eager to open all of her presents.

flew in Tuesday for some Wednesday meetings. flight back home again Thursday morning. Mexican for dinner twice, and Indian for lunch.

Mira was up early and wanted to open all of her presents first thing. eventually off to the office, and Mira was off to school. back home end of day and over to Mission. met the girls at Rainforest for dinner after Mira’s gymnastics class.

morning ballet, brought Alexa with us. back home to relax until Лена came home from the studio. late lunch for the 4 of us at a new spot – strange, strange, strange… brought Alexa back to the airport late.

brunch at Yolk, then back home to relax. early evening over to the Water Tower to try and get the song on Mira’s bear rerecorded while Alexa’s in town, but no luck as they’re out of the one thing we need. walked around until we found a sushi spot for dinner, then over to GLC for dessert.

all day in the office, cleaner came by in the afternoon to lend a hand with tidying up. picked up Mira from school, then off to get Alexa from the airport. dinner in Chinatown before coming home.

typical weekend… Mission on Saturday, ballet on Sunday. river is still green from yesterday’s celebrations, and supposedly we’ll get some snow tonight.

up way too early, but able to catch a helicopter moving large equipment to the roof of a nearby building. back to sleep until sometime early afternoon. early dinner for a late bday celebration at Fogo. home for the night watching the fights.

long day in the office, home briefly and off to pick up Mira from school. babysitter for the evening and out to see a doubles performance Лена had been practicing with another instructor from her studio. good time, and ended up being a late night.
