met up with Arjen in DC for dinner at Fogo de Chão. great meal, interesting experience, and of course fantastic to spend some time with Arjen again.

dropped by Dave & Buster’s and ended up bringing this guy home with all of the tickets i won. will further crowd the apartment, but hopefully we’ll be getting some positive news on yesterday’s offer.

slept in pretty late knowing that the weather wouldn’t cooperate for skydiving. and seeing my reserve expires tomorrow, it looks like i’m done until next spring. might need to take a trip to Moab or meet Mike in Twin Falls in a couple of months to do some BASE. drove out to the suburbs and walked around Morton Arboretum in the afternoon. cool spot, but was a bit cold. dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack, then poked around Ikea for a little while before driving back.

canceled an early appointment to see a few apartments as the timing didn’t work out. interesting afternoon at the dentist with Лена, then went to Marina City toward the end of the day to see a couple of units. thinking of making an offer on one that’s a wreck, but with an incredible view. dinner at Butterfly Sushi for more bubble tea.

looked at another 10 or so places today, and 2 stood out. not surprisingly, the trade off will be square footage or a killer view. very tempted by one on a high floor at Riverbend. at Vicky’s in Oak Park late to celebrate Jimmie’s 30th.

saw Vicky on Saturday at her salon, then hung out in the city before dinner at Roditys. met Nazar at the beach on Sunday morning to exercise, then did some shopping with Лена around town. back to DC in the morning…

flew out to TX from DC with Лена on Monday night for 2 days of meetings. in the office on Tuesday prepping for the Wednesday interviews. Looking forward to some much needed sleep.
