bfast with the girls in the hotel, then one last time poking around the stores and walking along the beach. packed up and got a ride back to Ft Lauderdale for our flight back home. uneventful… watched Pets 2 with Mira to pass the time. landed and collected our bags, and finally back home.

up a little early and off to bfast with Mira. another rainy, windy day, which limits our beach time… others went off shopping while Mira and i hung out, eventually making our way to the pool on the roof. had some take out when the rest came back, then off again for some more walking and shopping. had Mexican delivered for dinner, and again played cards before calling it a night.

up early and watched the ship dock for the last time, bfast, then made our way to the lower decks for the tediously long process of snaking our way off of the ship. caught a ride to Miami Beach and over to our hotel for the next couple of nights. “cold” and rainy weather, so spent some time in the room while the fam went shopping. grabbed some takeout and ate in the lobby, then played cards until bedtime – taught everyone Hearts.

up early with Mira and off to bfast. watched the Flowrider, then both took turns on the Sky Pad bungee. game of mini golf, then back to the room to change into bathing suits. played in the kids’ waterpark, then took a nice long swim in the adult pool before meeting up with the rest of the family and eventually grabbing lunch. some time in the room while the girls caught some sun, and eventually off to dinner. packed our bags and settled in for our last night on the ship.

up early, off to bfast, and ran into the in-laws. back to the room, got the girls up and again a quick stop at bfast. dressed and off the ship in Falmouth, Jamaica. walked to the courthouse and found our shuttle for a short ride to Silver Sands. awesome, gorgeous beach, and empty! swam all day and enjoyed a few Red Stripes, eventually getting some chicken and fries from the beach grille for lunch. one last swim, then packed up and shuttled back to port. a little shopping, then back onboard. showered and relaxed, and off to dinner. another after dinner walk with the family, again ending up in the gameroom for video games and air hockey. back to the room and in bed.

up early and watched us dock in Labadee, Haiti. bfast with the fam, back to the room, bathing suits, and made our way off of the ship. took the cart to Neliee’s Beach, and got settled in our beach cabana. tropical drinks, and lots of swimming and lounging on the floating mats. eventually headed over to the next beach for a mediocre lunch, and bought a couple of trinkets on the way back. one last swim, read one of Mira’s books, and finally in a cart and on our way back to the ship. showered and chilled, then off to dinner. walked around the ship together, played some video games and air hockey, and another late walk with Mira before bed.

up too early, and went up to bfast and ended up running into and joining the in-laws. down to the library/internet room and read about all of the fights i missed last night. went up to the Sky Pad and enjoyed a bungee session alone. back to the room, and took the girls to bfast. changed into bathing suits and took Mira up to the big slides, but she was unfortunately denied due to her height. instead took her on the Sky Pad which she really enjoyed. decided to take a swim in the big pool with Mira for awhile, then back to the room to change before heading to lunch. went exploring with the family and ended up dropping Mira at the kids’ club. back to the room to chill, picked up Mira and got dressed up for formal night. lots of pics around the ship before and after dinner. back to the room and watched the end of the men’s D1 soccer championship on the television. again another late walk with Mira before bed.

up early, after only 3 hours of sleep. out of the house and in a taxi to the airport. 3 hour flight, watched Godzilla to kill some time. got our bags and taxied straight to the ship, Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. long wait, finally boarded, explored a bit, and ate at the buffet. got to our room on deck 10 – 1700, changed, and took Mira for a swim in the kids’ pool. short nap, then our first dinner in the dinning room. late walk with Mira around the ship before bed.
