not too cold this year, which is great for trick-or-treating. 3 of us looped around the neighborhood, and called it a night once the candy bag got too heavy. hit a new spot for bar-b-que before heading home.

drove out to the orchard for our annual apple picking adventure. great time, and a bit unusual to be part of a crowd again.

up early for bfast and a few more hours on the slides before driving back to the city. made it in time for gymnastics and a quiet night at home.

Great Wolf Lodge
marathon in the morning, which passes us twice as it weaves through the city. decent drive out to the north burbs for 2 days of water slide excitement. tons of fun, and Mira had me going nonstop until they closed.
