up early morning to get ready and drive out to Deerfield for Mira’s rhythmic gymnastics state meet. Лена’s whole team did well, and Mira ended up 3rd AA in her L4 age group.

single class at home, then Charlotte came by and we all headed over to Altitude for some trampoline fun. stopped by Charlotte’s later for the girls to ride their hoover boards, takeout sushi at home, and a couple of games of Canvas before bed.

bday!
up early for presents and my homemade banana birthday cake. great to have Michael, Alexa, and Brooke in town for an extended weekend to celebrate. dropped Mira off for 4 hours of gymnastics, then off to a theater for the first time in more than a year to see Raya. peaceful night at home.

final artistic competition
drove out to the ‘burbs for Mira’s last artistic meet of the year. another good showing by the team, everyone medaling in at least one event. Mira was just outside of the AA standings, but got a few individual medals. grabbed dinner with Charlotte’s parents on the way home.

IL State Championships
another long drive, this time for Mira’s artistic gymnastics state meet. was the only one from her L3 team in her age group, so was missing out on the typical camaraderie aspect of the meet. did really well, but placed just outside of an AA ranking.
