slow day, spent some time walking around the city and did some shopping. took a 3 hour nighttime segway tour around the mall and city. lots of fun – first time riding one, hope to do it again sometime soon. controlling the urge to not go out and buy one… 😉

freezing rain, eventually turned to snow. went to the American History and Natural History Museums, then stopped in Chinatown on the way back for some food. diner at the Buddha Bar, then headed up K Street for some late night entertainment.

been working and staying in Chinatown. interesting part of the city, enjoying getting to know it better.

flew out early with Лена and arrived into DC early afternoon. walked to the White House, then later in the day to the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. sushi for dinner, as usual.

Nazar’s birthday party on Saturday night, and a little bit of craziness at his house. picked up a new iPhone for Лена on Sunday, then grabbed dinner at Russian Tea Time. first time there – especially liked their homemade vodkas, ended up with a few glasses of their cinnamon variety.

hung out with Alexa, walking around downtown. met Kyle and Alexa later for a nice dinner in Greektown. great to hang out, been way too long…

back at our office in the Reston Town Center prepping for tomorrow. drove into DC after dinner, great to be back in the city and looking forward to spending some time here over the next couple of months. got to watch the Brazil – Mexico friendly and so nice to see Ronaldinho back playing for the national team.

up at 2:30 am to catch a flight to Dulles. first time at the Reston Town Center since the Baan days. very long day…

went out to the DZ early but only got in a single jump as one of the planes was down and things were pretty backed up. first time jumping solo since last summer. went to Kunaal and Neha’s late for Neha’s masquerade birthday party. lots of fun, lots of dancing.

dropped by Navy Pier for a couple of hours after work with Лена. met up with Rajesh, Kunaal, Tarun, the wives, and the kids at Carnivale for a fun dinner. good to see everyone, been too long.
