turkey day

nice to not be working on a Thursday. late afternoon dinner reservation, excellent meal as always. back home for some great, relaxing family time.

shelves

ballet in the morning, back home to chill. put Mira’s new shelves up over her bed – looks really good, and great way to show off her growing collection of VS dogs.

contortionist

all day in the Chicago office. babysitter so we could drop by the opening party at the new studio where Лена works. fun time, great space – especially enjoyed the performance by the contortionist. late movie – newest Hunger Games. blah at best, would have preferred to spend those two hours sleeping.

relaxing weekend… bought the fights on Saturday night, watched Rousey get pounded. sunday – ballet early, dinner at Fogo.

morning and afternoon in the Chicago office, end of day flight to MN. quick afternoon stop at Binny’s to pick up a bottle of the just released, limited run Crystal Head Aurora. debated buying more than 1, maybe will return over the weekend to see if they have any left…

morning ballet class – cute to watch as the girls are becoming more autonomous, less reliance on mothers during the class. brunch in River North at Лена’s favorite Mexican spot.

ballet class in the morning, nice to get an extra hour’s sleep prior. walk around town with the girls in the afternoon, taking our last pumpkin-themed photos prior to the xmas onslaught. unseasonably warm, imagine it will be colder in MN. relaxing day at home.
