up for our last lavish breakfast… quickly packed and got a late checkout. taxied to Soho / Greenwich Village for some more shopping for Лена. back to the hotel, checked out, and a taxi to LGA. expensive and not so great late lunch in the airport before our short, last flight home. arrived, got our bags, and loaded up the taxi to take us home. great trip, good to see mom, Brandon, Pete & Heidi. fun time, start to finish…

breakfast overlooking the new NYC transportation hub. back to the room and brought up a manager to point our all my issues with the space. was assured we’d be moved to a better room later in the day. out for a walk up to Soho and on to Times Square. quick lunch on the way back and a short taxi to the Hilton. new room still wasn’t ready so we went upstairs for a family nap. was up before the others, so dropped by reception to sort out the move. got reassigned to the Governor’s Suite which consumed half of the hotel’s top floor. awesome spot with a nearly 360° view of the city from the 55th floor. quickly ready for dinner and taxied to Bobby Flay’s Gato – my favorite spot in the city. great meal, fun time. back to the hotel and spent the rest of the night enjoying the opulence of our 1,600 sq ft penthouse.

down for breakfast and back to the room to sort out our luggage. yet another late checkout for 2 pm, so was a very relaxed morning. Mira opened her new year’s present from Дед Морóз, playing with Peppa and George every day from that point forward. eventually packed, checked out, and in a taxi toward the airport. checked our bags, bite to eat, and some shopping then made our way to the plane. Mira was quickly asleep, watched a couple of movies and ate a couple of meals… and then we were landing in New York. long taxi ride from JFK to the Millenium Hilton in Manhattan. not too pleased with the room, but we were all quickly to bed.
