and another meet
another long and early drive for another meet. fantastic showing by the team, and Mira again doing her best work on floor with a 4th place finish.

out for breakfast, then stopped by our favorite bead store for some supplies. back home to build necklaces with the petrified wood pendants we picked up on our trip.

early morning drive to the ‘burbs for another meet. Mira did great, as usual, placing 4th on floor and 6th on beam. back home and off to rhythmic practice…

school closed down due to Covid concerns, but we roll with the punches. opportunity for Mira to hang out with Emmy.

up super early, returned the car, checked in, and grabbed bfast. uneventful flight, and returned to some unimpressive snow. back to Chicago life…

Albuquerque
slept in, finally up, and greeted by another snow storm. slow drive to Albuquerque, but in no hurry as all of the interesting stops along the way are closed for the holiday. found a cool brewery in the city for a late lunch before checking into the hotel. enjoyed our last swim, skipped dinner, and packed up for tomorrow’s early flight.
