drove to Lightology to pick up a cool lighted mirror for Лена’s vanity. printed some photos at the drug store and took the long walk to the Water Tower and back for some shopping. late dinner at the sushi place around the corner.
early shopping, but bailed on Tarun’s and Neha’s gender reveal party as none of us was feeling so great. late walk through the park then dinner at one of our usual spots. found out later that night that they’re having twin girls! hard to imagine, exciting times ahead for the 2 of them… 🙂
put together Mira’s fancy new highchair, which is cool for a number of reasons including that she can already use it and sit with us in the kitchen. more strolls around town with the ever present bassinet.
Alexa took the train in from O’Hare during her layover return flight from London. walked to River North for a nice sushi lunch then back home as Cat also stopped by for a visit. great to see both of them. short walk in the park before Cat took Lex back to O’Hare for her flight home.
built my new closet so Mira could get hers back. early afternoon walk across the street in the park to check out the tanuki, and take lots of photos. grabbed a spot on the roof of Tavern on the Park for some food before heading home.
