grabbed some take out from across the street and spent some time up on the roof enjoying the afternoon. watched Avatar in 3D at home – impressive on the big screen. late shopping trip with Лена, swung by the party store to pick up ballons for her mom. first time it’s been just the 2 of us since Mira’s birth.

unboxed Mira’s walker, put it together, then pimped it with some hot pink stripes and accents. Лена took the family shopping during the afternoon, then we ended up around the corner for a sushi dinner. short walk in the park and in bed somewhat early.

finally got to snap some pics with the new camera – awesome. took the parents down State St. for some shopping then walked a bit for some fun photography on the Michagan Ave. bridge. dinner at Flat Top, but they weren’t fans.

slept in a bit then made breakfast for everyone. opened lots of presents for the 3 of us… walk in the park before an early dinner outside at Bennigan’s. late trip up to the pool and hot tub. Mira got a new neck floatie so was again able to enjoy bath time.

crazy night, woke up on the floor in front of my computer from the never ending deployment and data migration call. early trip to the market, short nap, and tried to clean up a little more before heading to the airport. they arrived ok, but it seems the New York connection was overly challenging. back home and relaxed, bite to eat and they were in bed early. Mira is loving all of the attention.

parents arriving tomorrow… finished grouting the kitchen tiles yesterday, trying to clean up today. major deployment at work this weekend, will be up all night on a call. new camera arrived yesterday, but no time to even take it out of the box yet.

working in Philly, got this picture sent to me end of day. she loves her dragon. 🙂

another celebration, 5 months young. late flight out, once again off for Philadelphia.

continuing our preparations for Лена’s parents, who’ll be here in 2 short weeks. tiled the island, other preparations around the house, even touched up some paint on Black Sheep.
