balmy

switched hotels to a spot on the Intracoastal – much nicer but adds to the commute. will be wrapping up here next week, going to miss the weather…

brrr!

been cold here, especially coming from FL every week where it’s in the 80s…. first actual winter in the last few years, was beginning to doubt if Chicago ever got cold.

Friday, busy day in the office – interview early, meeting midday. Saturday spent largely at home, dinner across the street at Miller’s. having fun capturing Mira’s personality on camera.

stall bars

built the stall bar set up on Saturday night, put it up on the wall on Sunday. wood glue is still drying, can’t play with it until next weekend.

Hyde Park

afternoon trip to the doctor’s office – less tedious than usual. Mira is a little sick, sure i’ll end up that way too by the end of the weekend.

football

fun day watching football, psyched to see the Broncos win again. second game at the Tilted Kilt, then dropped Kyle and Alexa at Union Station. good times…

Geno’s

day at home, Лена at her studio with Mira, and Kyle and Alexa across the street at the Art Institute. evening walk to Geno’s East for some pie, surprised Kyle and Alexa with a lock to hang on the bridge near ours. up late talking with Alexa and Лена.

Second City

Kyle and Alexa arrived around noon. hung out at home, picked Лена up from her studio early evening and stopped for sushi at Dragonfly. drove the girls home then the 3 of us ventured to Second City for an 11 pm show. pretty funny, glad to finally make it there.

day spent mostly at home watching some great football games. Mira is literally getting cuter by the day.
