back down Michigan Ave. for sushi at Niu B. was a good opportunity to get Mira dressed up in some of her fun new Halloween clothes for the first time.

busy day – morning workout at POW!, late afternoon brunch at Wildberry. babysitter came early afternoon, quick stop at Tesori with Лена then walked up State St. for the Russell Peters show. was fun, but was expecting more. late dinner at Vapiano before heading home.

took Mira to the Rainforest Café for the first time. food was iffy, but enjoyed the animated alligator, elephant, and the gorillas. and as always, got a bunch of great pics.

poked around Millennium Park with Mira, checking out the bean and chasing birds. soup at Panera and a stop at Target before coming home.

spent some daddy – daughter time while mom was at work. early evening walk though the park then down Michigan Ave. to a new sushi spot.

late afternoon walk across the street, eventually ended up at the Rooftop for a nice late lunch / early dinner. headed to Boston Monday night.

walked up Michigan Ave. up to the Apple store to check out the new phones. spot of rain here and there so crossed the street to the GLC for a fun lunch in celebration of Mira’s 1.5 birthday… 🙂 got dragged around Nordstrom to look at some fancy purses, and Mira slept in the stroller as we made our way back home.

skipped my POW! workout and had the babysitter show up a litle earlier than usual. dinner at a new spot in River North, Seasons 52, that we both really enjoyed. nice to have date night every once in a while…

afternoon trip to the zoo, hopefully added some context to all of the animal books we read to Mira. stopped at some random sushi place for a late lunch before eventually going home.

drove out to some distant suburb for Shanaya’s & Gianna’s first birthday. good time, Mira was surprisingly social with the other kids and even managed to sit through the whole performance by the magician.
