one of Mira’s Christmas presents… put it together late last night, so she got some serious play out of it today. loves it… 🙂

dropped by Mary’s for a holiday party after Лена got back from work. dinner at the South Loop Mexican place before heading home.

walked over to Daley Plaza to visit Santa and take some pics. grabbed an early dinner across the street then made the short walk home.

Лена was working in the studio today which means papa was home babysitting all day. walked to a nearby Italian restaurant for dinner with the girls. decent spot, good chance we’ll be back.

taxied into River North and walked around a bit before settling on the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. got a front row seat in front of the elephants this time around and of course Mira had a great time.

up after a few hours of sleep, walked the couple of blocks to my training session – only here today and tomorrow. quick dinner at some Japanese sushi and burger spot, which was tasty.

flew into New York late Sunday night for a 2 day training session. up late putting the finishing touches on a proposal that had been consuming my life the last week and a half. cool room on the top floor with a great view of the Empire State Building.

busy day, slammed with work, including a 7 am call. early evening, back to Maggiano’s for Thanksgiving dinner. missed it last year, such a great spot for a solid meal, always with lots of leftovers. Лена went out late for some Black Friday shopping while i slept.

Monday night date night, just the two of us. quick bite at the restaurant in the theater before the new Hunger Games movie. movie was ok, but overly predictable.

walked down Adams for a sushi dinner dinner at a restaurant we noticed a few months back. Friday night and the place was almost empty – can’t imagine it will be open much longer. enjoyed it, but nothing remarkable. cut through the Palmer House on the way back and snapped some pics of Mira with a couple of their Christmas trees.
