in training the last few days – very productive. tuesday night, back to Grand Cental for dinner, nice to see it alive with activity this time… dinner at the Oyster Bar, which was a cool spot with more than 100 years of history. wednesday night picked up some seafood from a Spanish place nearby my hotel. back home late thursday night.

in NYC this week and staying in Midtown East. snowy… walked over to Grand Central for dinner, but the power was out and all of the stores were closed. ended up at some random pub on 3rd Ave instead.

ballet in the morning and a birthday party in the afternoon. a little scary thinking we’ll be hosting the same next month…

fun weekend – made some tasty cookies with Mira on Saturday, ballet class and the Super Bowl on Sunday. glad to see Peyton go out on top.

some awesome freeform artwork on the back of one of her school assignments. already a better artist than her dad. 🙂

opened yesterday’s package first thing before work… a massive collection of Peppa Pig toys that i had Brandon send from the UK. of course Mira was elated, plus it gives me the chance to tinker with making new figures from the duplicates.

warmer day, day in the park with the girls practicing their bicycling. dinner at a new spot, our third Restaurant “Week” sampling.

took Mira back to the gym for a bit more climbing. needed to promise her a Kinder Surprise to get her to climb to the top. dinner at Texas de Brazil.

ballet in the morning – final day of her first semester. Nando’s for lunch, day spent watching football. great to see Peyton win / the Pats lose.

friend stayed with us for a couple of days, along with her cat. cute watching Mira learn how to interact with her.
