my random ramblingsan infrequent (and these days, mostly Mira related…) blog

up early for ballet. back home, picked Лена up from work, then a quick and cold tour of 2 open houses in the West Loop. drove to Ukrainian Village for some shopping and lunch at a new sushi spot, then back into the West Loop for one more open house before heading home. Easter egg hunt with Mira at home.

drove out to Naperville on Friday to spend the night with Tarun and Neha and fam. great time, incredible house, Mira had a blast playing hide and seek with the kids. up early for the drive to Deerfield for gymnastics and another breakfast at Eggshell. back home to relax and dye some eggs.

no ballet today. 🙁 waited for Лена to get home from work then took a short drive into the West Loop to play in the park and eat sushi. first warm spring day so far.

Лена and Mira headed over for a play date at Matthew’s. Mira of course brought along her favorite matching game… which was supposedly my favorite game at 3 years old too. 🙂

decided to drive out for class this time… got there early and stopped in a cafe around the corner for omelets. good time, fun watching the girls.

Mira is finally starting to feel better, but still home from school today. long time spent in the waiting room at Лена’s doctor, making friends.

long trek out to Deerfield, including a 45 minute Metra train ride, for a new rhythmic gymnastics class. again, disproportionate number of Russian speakers, which Лена appreciated. cute to watch but not sure there’s a need for this sort of logistical effort just yet….

checkup / cleaning today at the dentist. Mira is sick, so am flying solo. lunch workout at POW!

morning ballet with Mira, got a good view of the race down State St. from the studio windows. long walk to Meli for dinner, just the 2 of us.
