cake and presents before work, a great way to start the day. into the office, but back home early. late lunch at Heaven on Seven with Mira, nice to see a Mardi Gras celebration, and the etouffee was tasty. back home for a relaxing evening, including some great lightning from the bedtime storm.

same story as last Saturday – morning at Mission, then another afternoon birthday party, this time at a playroom in the West Loop. lots of organized chaos, and we’ll be hosting the same next month for Mira’s 4th.

holiday from work today, which is unusual per my memory. Mira was also off from school, so took the opportunity to visit the Field Museum. fun time, grabbed lunch during the walk back home.

morning at Mission, afternoon birthday party for one of Mira’s classmates at the Kids Science Labs. was fun, i missed the last science themed party, so was glad to go.

flew in late Sunday night, big meeting on Monday. rainy and cold on Tuesday for my flights back home.

up early to pack and pick up some flowers. Chelsie came by to take Mira to ballet, and I was off to the gym for a workshop by the legendary Saenchai. really good class, sorry to have to leave in a hurry… even managed to leave behind my gloves and pads. back home, then soon off again and in a taxi on my way to the airport for Monday morning meetings.

day hanging out at home, late afternoon to the Chicago Theatre with the girls to see a live performance of Paw Patrol. fun time and a good show, considering the material they had to work with. dinner at the Walnut Room on the way home.

morning at ballet, then late afternoon lunch with the girls at Rainforest – Mira’s choice. disappointing Super Bowl, shocking choke by the Falcons.

early afternoon out for a few errands. picked up a new battery for Black Sheep, but made the mistake of having the garage install it… almost an hour later and we were off again, this time to mail 2 big boxes to Лена’s parents. grabbed lunch around the corner at a new spot – Tryzub, which i liked a lot. finally, over to Ann’s to pick up some staples while we were in the neighborhood.

back on my Sunday schedule, morning ballet, then day spent relaxing at home. dinner out at Michael Jordan’s with the girls – really good.
