Mira got us up at 7:00 and of course wanted to immediately start opening her presents. fun morning, ended up playing with most of Mira’s toys… picked up an animated movie to watch early afternoon, then had Chinese delivered for dinner. registered Лена’s LLC before bed.

relaxed morning, bfast at home, and watched the snow finally fall. walked down the street to the Auditorium Theater to see The Nutcracker. strange production, would have preferred the traditional storyline, but still a great show, especially considering our seats. quick stop at home, then hopped in a taxi for dinner at Tanta. fantastic meal and my first pisco sours in a very long time, but ate far too much. last preparations before bed for tomorrow’s xmas fun.

visit to the Christkindlmarket and a stop by 900 N. Michigan to see Santa. silver lining – ended up with a really cool narwhal.

long drive out to the ‘burbs for a meeting, and a long drive back home for some calls. out to Mira’s school for a holiday performance, which was great. sushi, and headed home.

ballet in the morning, Target stop on the way home. picked up supplies to make a gingerbread house, which turned out surprisingly well. packed up late for my Monday morning, and hopefully last, trip of the year.

skipped Mission and drove to the ‘burbs with Mira to check out some tile and counter options. overwhelming, but fun time – finally settled on our selections. home the rest of the day, dinner delivered and watched the fights late.

home early and wrapped some presents. picked up Mira from school, time spent at home until Лена got back from work.

so, my office was decorated for xmas… actually is pretty cool i think. home late from work, relaxing night hanging out with the girls.

late morning to Block 37 to see Coco with Mira. great movie, both enjoyed it a lot. home to chill for the rest of the day, Лена didn’t get back home from work until late.

walked Tiff to the train early, hastle trying to cross State St. due to the Thanksgiving parade. relaxing day, afternoon trip to Maggiano’s for dinner which was great, as always. quick stop at the Palmer House on the way back. nice holiday…
