my random ramblingsan infrequent (and these days, mostly Mira related…) blog

first time back to ballet in a few weeks. hung out for another hour afterwards as Mira was part of the Joffrey photo shoot. afternoon birthday party – this time got to make her own piece before painting. will be fun to see how it turns out when we get it back in a few weeks.

morning at Mission, back home to take Mira to her swim lesson. sure showing some huge improvements. dinner at Лена’s favorite restaurant and another fight card on the tube before bed.

still sick, and having some uncontrollable coughing… so evening trip back to the ER for a chest x-ray. fortunately still got to see some of the fights as they were on a network channel.

Mira’s pretty sick, so all day spent at home. did some egg hunts around the house, and watched a Disney video in the evening. my egg is so far undefeated…

first party late morning for Victoria, and from there, straight to Ella’s. then picked up the pottery on the way home. watched the fights and off to bed.

working from home today, hooray! quick trip into West Loop with Лена for a UK visa appointment. back home, lots of calls, then off to pick up Mira end of day from school. quick stop at Target, then walked to Athena for a nice Greek dinner. over to Artopolis for a loaf of Easter bread then headed home. dozed off watching the Bellator fights, and finally to bed.

few errands in the morning – coffee, bfast, cupcakes… drove out to Lincoln Park, picked up pizzas, then unloaded at the pottery store and set up for Mira’s party. bunch of kids, painting, food, and fun. back home to play with the presents and relax.

early flight out, and again stranded in ORD. finally into MSP and a long layover as I missed my connection. eventually into SFO and to the hotel to catch up on work for the day.

morning over to Mission, and a special 2 hour class by Beneil Dariush. was great, enjoyed the lesson, and picked up a couple of new things. home to relax for a bit, then off to iFly with the girls for Mira’s first time flying. loved it of course, we will definitely be back for more. walked to Uncle Julio’s for dinner – stretching Mira’s bday celebration out a bit longer…

up very early as Mira was excited to get to her presents. presents and cake first thing, meanwhile i’m working from home. afternoon break to make a birthcake with Mira, then an end of day stop at her gymnastics class. dinner at Safe House – Mira’s choice – then back home for a yummy slice of strawberry goodness.
