another long drive, and another day needing to miss school because of a meet. good job by the team, and Mira again medaled in floor. back home, and rhythmic practice in the evening.

Legacy Elite
another early start with the artistic gymnastics team. Mira rocked out a 1st place finish on floor and 6th AA, qualifying for state. back home in time for Emmy’s bday party, and wrapped up the night with a great fight card on PPV.

sledding
taking advantage of the small amount of snow we’ve seen, headed to the Soldier Field hill for some morning sledding with Audrey. girls had lots of laughs, one big tumble, and a stop for hot chocolate before coming home.

out for breakfast, then stopped by our favorite bead store for some supplies. back home to build necklaces with the petrified wood pendants we picked up on our trip.

school closed down due to Covid concerns, but we roll with the punches. opportunity for Mira to hang out with Emmy.

up super early, returned the car, checked in, and grabbed bfast. uneventful flight, and returned to some unimpressive snow. back to Chicago life…

Albuquerque
slept in, finally up, and greeted by another snow storm. slow drive to Albuquerque, but in no hurry as all of the interesting stops along the way are closed for the holiday. found a cool brewery in the city for a late lunch before checking into the hotel. enjoyed our last swim, skipped dinner, and packed up for tomorrow’s early flight.
