mass panic as the forecast says we’ll actually have 2 cold days this winter. bunch of softies, in spite of their trendy $1000 down parkas…

ballet in the morning, then over to the new place with Mira to take care of a few things, including hanging her new net… not sure the rest of her zoo will fit, but will give it a try.

over to the new place after dropping off Mira. day spent building IKEA furniture and polishing off the guest room closet. pick up after school and caught the student art show at the gym early evening. finally over to get Лена late and headed back to the other house.

observation day at ballet, as it’s the last day of the semester. back over to the new place to work on some more projects and watched the ends of both games.

3 or 4 inches of snow, and the city’s in a panic… skipped Mission to clean up before another showing, while Лена and Mira were out enjoying the snow, including Mira’s first snowman build. 🙂

lots of cleaning for another afternoon showing. early dinner at Exchequer with Mira, caught some of both games, watched a bit of Mulan, and eventually off to bed.

enjoying the time off, and nice that Mira is off of school for 2 weeks. some more work on the new place, gymnastics practice at home, and a movie before bed.

working on closets with no end in sight. back to the Loop, cleaned up and headed out to Tao for a fun dinner. nice place, but a total rip off of Buddha Bar… back home, played a bunch of games, and struggled to make it to midnight. so long 2018, hoping for the best in 2019.

early errands to pick up flowers and a cake from Magnolia. opened presents and had cake early, then over to the new place to figure out where everything will eventually go. nice dinner at Joe’s to celebrate Лена’s birthday.

Mira got us up early, and wasn’t long before we were shredding wrapping paper. built a LEGO hospital with Mira while Лена napped, then I got my nap while the girls watched a movie. take out Chinese for dinner.
