slow day at home, back into the Zoom routine for Лена’s classes. evening walk to pick up dinner, and it’s finally starting to feel a little bit colder outside.

morning Zoom gymnastics class for Mira while i prepped our feast. great meal at home with a turkey from Popeyes, take out from Maggiano’s, and dessert from Magnolia Bakery. played poker with the girls for a bit in the evening, and rewatched a Harry Potter movie on tv before bed.

5 day weekend! afternoon trip to the Loop with the girls for a little shopping. obligatory stop at the Lego store, then enjoyed the xmas lights as it got dark.

… for Christmas are my two front teeth. Mira’s other top front tooth finally came out, and under the pillow it goes.

shuttled Mira over to an early practice with one of Дена’s younger groups. turned out being one of the last in-person classes before the latest COVID shutdown.

election finally called this morning. out to brunch with Mira, and split a great sub. chill afternoon and watched the fights before bed.

fun time getting prepared for Halloween. the 3 of us went out early, Mira dressed as a piranha. once it was dark, just the 2 of us went out, this time as Harry Potter. a lot less families handing out candy this year, and was interesting seeing the contraptions some folks devised to keep physical distance. still managed to come home with more candy than should ever be eaten.

over to Eddie’s early to help him with a last few things for the party. early evening headed back over for Eliana’s bday party, and Mira dressed up as a praying mantis. good time, nice to get the kids together.

picked up a bunch of salmon to cook up for a Halloween party, but turned out simply being a dry run as the party got canceled as one of the hosts got sick. will get to try it again next weekend. sure was yummy though!

picked up Mira’s new artistic gymnastics competition leotard and sweats. fingers crossed that she’ll have in-person competitions starting early 2021.
