i’ve honestly lost count at this point… was sititing on the couch working on my computer when i heard a large crash. my initial thought was a big chuck of ice dislodging from the roof. as i look up and out of the living room window i see a car crash and flip onto its side. ran outside in my socks dialing 911. someone else had stopped, but of course she wasn’t going to do anything but be a gaper. ran up to the car, climbed up on its side and saw a guy crumbled in the passenger seat and partly pushed through the broken windshield. fortunately he was moving and responsive. the driver’s door was locked so i opened the door behind it. that’s when i knew he was drunk. opening the door, everything reeked of alcohol. guy mumbled that he was ok, so i the pulled him up and out of the car. once i got him on the ground a local cop showed up and i figured it was time to leave. strange way to visit with the next door neighbors. was the fourth (or fifth?) time i’ve been the first responder over the last ten years i’ve been in Wyoming. thankfully, this guy is alive, unlike the last time i went running outside.

stood outside in the driveway to watch the full Snow Moon rise. found the following “analysis” online at some random astrology site:
on February 28, the moon grows full in the sign of Virgo — perfectionist, exacting, discriminating, analytical. full moons signify the completion, culmination of what may have been initiated during the previous new moon in Aquarius which encouraged us to break away, get unstuck and establish a new “norm”.
