got back from New York and there was a cd waiting for me from the other side of the world with more pictures from Guatemala. can’t decide if i travel too much or not enough. will be booking the next vacation tomorrow…

last day of 3 spent in North Carolina with another client. dinner last night with Teelko and Art spent rehashing our Baan days. watched someone get arrested in the Atlanta airport while waiting for my flight to Chicago.

good weekend – played poker Friday night, took a tour with Tarun and Avi of some downtown establishments on Saturday night, then watched the Super Bowl tonight at the local watering hole. found this interesting specimen on the shelf at Dylan’s.

trapped on the road for two extra nights due to the epic Midwest snowstorm. finally back and riding the train into the city, looks to be a lot of work ahead to clear the streets of snow.

joined the POW! mixed martial arts gym nearby and attended my first Muay Thai class this morning. couple of hours later played indoor soccer with the BigMachines team at an arena a few blocks from my apartment. it’s not snowboarding, but i’ll find ways to enjoy the winter.

in New York for the first time in a while, spending the day with a client. nice to be on the manufacturing shop floor again.

met up with Mike, Amy, Tim and Mike at the crack of noon and managed to get to the upper mountain for free. great day even with Sublette down, lapping Thunder and the Mushroom Chutes. stopped by the Casper Restaurant and picked up Derrick for a final run. finished up at Cascade and the VC, then into town at the Brew Pub and the Tavern to complete the tour.

been more than a month, and needed the driveway plowed before getting into town. things are looking snowy, and am eager to get out and enjoy it on Saturday. late night at the ‘Coach celebrating the day’s restoration.

first day riding the train, makes for an interesting commute. frustrating to still be waiting on an internet connection at the apartment.

went to the Spy Club for a New Year’s bash. good time, very international flavor – got my dance on and busted out my best Bollywood moves… 🙂
