up early, last of the packing and such things prior to being gone for 3 weeks. taxied to the airport, checked our big bags and grabbed a quick bite. easy flight to Atlanta, then waited 2 hours to board our long flight to Rome. Mira was a gem as always, sleeping for more than half the flight. no sleep for me, although mama got a bit – i ended up watching 4 movies instead…
