Chicago Cup, day 1
another day off of school, for yet another rhythmic meet. Лена’s L3 girls and the L5 group competed, and i was there to document it all. another 1st for Mira’s group, and more to come tomorrow.

9!!!
Mira’s 9th birthday. presents and hot chocolate cake (which i baked 😎) in the morning, then picked up Emmy and Audrey in the afternoon for a little pizza party followed by a prison-themed escape room. fun day!

another day off from school, this time for the artistic State meet. only Mira and Vika during this particular session of the L4 age group, and Mira medaled in both beam and floor!

early morning drive out for the L5 girls’ individual rhythmic State meet. late afternoon drive the other direction for Mira’s artistic Lucky Invite meet, where Mira medaled in both floor and beam.

home meet, but at UIC. another great job by the girls, and again Mira’s highest medaling event was floor. will need to break down all of the equipment at the end of the weekend – ugh!
